HOW DO PICK-UPS AND DROP-OFFS WORK?Think of me as a doggy school bus driver. I go to each house and pick up between 7am and 9am. Everyone rides in the car to the destination spot together. Once the day is done, I will typically drop off in reverse order of pick up.
WHAT DO YOU DO IF THERE'S A MEDICAL ISSUE OR A DOG RUNS OFF?If there is a medical emergency, I will first assess the issue and stabilize. Pending severity, I will call your dog's regular vet (recorded in your client portal) to see if they can be fit in. If not, I will go to Mass Vet Referral Hospital (as that's where I worked as a veterinary technician) or the closest ER for more emergent care. I will also inform the owner as soon as possible. It's always best to be proactive when it comes to animal safety, which is why I strongly recommend an Apple Airtag or Fi Collar for your dog.
HOW DO I KNOW IF MY DOG IS A GOOD FIT FOR DOG CAMP?Great question! We will typically work together 1:1 before starting Dog Camp, and I can give my insights and recommendations for moving forward. However, general guidelines: Your dog must have a reliable recall, be able to manage emotions (i.e. mostly calm demeanor), be cookie oriented, is social/does well with other dogs, and does well in the car. If you have specific questions, please feel free to get in touch and we can schedule a Meet & Greet and go over your specific needs.
DO I NEED TO COMMIT TO REGULAR SERVICES?Nope! No commitment necessary. You can use Buddy Sitting as little or as much as you need. However, for Dog Camp, we will say your dog will make lots of friends and it's nice to have a regular group that does well together and thrives together! ;)
